Nortel's Hosted IVR service is a 100% standards-based, VoIP/SIP optimized, geographically redundant solution to deploy speech applications. It is highly secure, conforming to both the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standard and ISO 27002. Nortel's Hosted IVR program aligns "sophistication of solution" with the utmost simplicity, and will change the IVR industry.

Nortel's Hosted IVR service may be purchased on a stand-alone basis, or in conjunction with Nortel's extensive portfolio of hosted solutions. It is available as both a turnkey solution (with speech applications), or as a flexible platform for enterprises that manage their own VoiceXML applications. Nortel's Hosted IVR program allows customers to immediately evaluate the "business case" for IVR projects, comparing agent costs with Nortel's economical "per minute" Hosted IVR fees. Hosted IVR is ideally suited for both inbound and outbound applications, and integrates highly resilient infrastructure and sophistication of speech technology.

IVR Speech Applications

For decades, Nortel's IVR professional services expertise has been renowned in the IVR industry. Nortel now offers an expanded range of application deployment options for Hosted IVR customers, from rapidly deployable, customizable packaged speech applications to fully custom projects. Many sophisticated speech applications can be deployed within 10-12 weeks after receiving a customer's requirements and purchase order.

Projects that fit the "customizable packaged speech applications" approach will benefit from cost savings that are inherent in a "70% productized" application. A modest setup fee will be quoted by Nortel, based upon the customer's application requirements.
